Farmers Insurance is seeking a Field Property Claims Adjuster for SW Atlanta, GA. This remote (LI-Remote) field role requires travel to policyholder homes within the greater SW Atlanta area, including Newnan and surrounding communities. Starting wage is $27.67/hr or higher, with additional compensation based on experience.

Candidates must reside in the greater SW Atlanta area. The position offers a competitive benefits package and opportunities for growth within the Farmers Claims organization.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment.
• Construction or Insurance experience is highly desirable and preferred.
• Excellent communication skills – both oral and written.
• Computer Literate: MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Proficiency with smartphones and applications.
• Valid driver's license and Bondable. Final candidates will also be subject to a Motor Vehicle Record background check as this position may include a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct both virtual and on-site investigations by visiting policyholders' residences to assess property damage, determine liability, evaluate the extent of loss, and negotiate fair settlements.
