Farmers Insurance is seeking a Field Property Adjuster in the Del Rio, TX area. This role involves investigating property damage at policyholder homes, both virtually and on-site, to determine liability and negotiate fair settlements.

You’ll use claims software, a company vehicle, and a laptop to write estimates in a paperless environment, while collaborating with claimants, agents, and other stakeholders. Travel within 50 miles is required.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service experience is essential.
• Construction or insurance experience is desirable.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Computer literate: MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Proficiency with smartphones and applications.
• Eagerness to learn about insurance policies and property damage.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct virtual and on-site inspections by visiting policyholders’ residences to assess property damage, determine liability, evaluate the extent of loss, and negotiate fair settlements.
• Use claims handling software, a company car, and a laptop to determine claims‑related damage and write estimates in a paperless environment.
• Evaluate and report on potential subrogation opportunities.
• Report incidents involving theft, fraud, or arson to appropriate state and industry agencies.
• Perform duties independently, with work directly impacting management outcomes.
• Engage with a variety of stakeholders, including policyholders, claimants, agents, witnesses, contractors, law enforcement, fraud and arson investigators, attorneys, medical professionals, and others.
