Job summary

Maryland Energy Advisors is seeking a Field Project Coordinator to support inspections and project coordination for energy efficiency programs in Maryland. The role requires traveling within the DPL service territory and engaging with customers, service providers, and internal teams to move projects from submittal to completion.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and communicative, with a background in energy programs or related fields.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent experience) in Energy, Communications, Environmental Studies, Business Administration, or related field.
Must reside in or around Maryland’s Eastern Shore and be able to travel regularly within the DPL service territory.

Responsibilities

Support delivery of utility energy efficiency programs with focus on on-site inspections and customer engagement.
Conduct on-site inspections to verify eligibility, measure installation quality, and ensure program compliance.
Serve as field-facing representative coordinating with service providers and internal teams.
Coordinate project intake, scheduling, documentation review, and closeout activities throughout the project life cycle.
Maintain organized documentation and data integrity for regulatory and contractual requirements.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
