Job summary

This role requires a CS/engineering background, 4+ years in field ops or related, and strong scripting (Python/Bash). U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 4+ years in Field Operations, Technical Enablement, Customer Success, or Systems Engineering.
• 2+ years leading teams (transition from IC to team lead).
• Proven track record turning informal processes into repeatable operating models.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) for automation.
• Experience with production software in mission-critical, disconnected, or hybrid environments.
• Understanding of networking, cloud, infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, and reliability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; clear documentation.
• U.S. Citizenship; ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Field Engagement Operations from resourcing to closeout.
• Manage Field Hardware readiness: imaging, configuration, software versioning, testing, and shipping.
• Create and maintain the field asset-management system.
• Maintain field knowledge base with SOPs, templates, and AARs.
• Coordinate daily SITREPs and provide operational updates to leadership.
• Develop onboarding pathways and readiness requirements for Field Engineers.
