Job summary

TurbineOne is seeking a Field Operations Manager to own and scale the operational systems for Field Engineering. You will start as an IC, then build and lead a team, coordinating with Field Engineering, Mission Operations, Product, Engineering, Security, and leadership to ensure successful field engagements.

You will own field processes, hardware readiness, asset management, knowledge management, and communication cadences, enabling reliable deployments at customer sites and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 4+ years in Field Operations or related, building scalable operational systems.
• 2+ years leading or managing teams.
• Proficiency in Python or Bash for automation.
• Experience with production software in mission-critical, disconnected, or hybrid environments.
• Working understanding of networking, cloud, infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, and reliability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to create SOPs and documentation.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Field Engagement Operations: own end-to-end operational workflow for Field Engineering from resourcing to closeout.
• Field Hardware: manage imaging, configuration, software versioning, testing, and shipping for deployments and demos.
• Field Asset Management: create and maintain the asset-management system including inventory and lifecycle.
• Field Knowledge Management: own SOPs, checklists, templates, and AARs; capture lessons learned.
• Field Communications: manage communication rhythms, SITREPs, and leadership updates.
• Field Enablement: build onboarding pathways, define readiness requirements, and run enablement sessions.
