Job summary

TurbineOne is building Mission‑AI for the Frontlines. As Field Engineering Manager, you will lead and mentor a team responsible for field integrations, deployment tooling, and on‑site execution. You will balance engineering velocity with reliability in hybrid environments and drive scalable, secure FPS deployments.

You will work with Security, Product, and Mission Operations to ensure readiness, with travel to customer sites and TurbineOne facilities as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical discipline.
• 7+ years in Field Engineering, Systems Integration, or related deployment roles.
• 4+ years leading or managing engineering teams.
• Extensive experience with Linux, networking, and deploying software in edge/complex environments.
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployment.
• Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash).
• Experience delivering production software in customer-controlled or hybrid environments.
• Strong prioritization and communication skills.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Field Engineering team, establishing repeatable deployment workflows.
• Provide strategic technical leadership for field integrations and automation.
• Oversee secure deployment of FPS on customer-owned edge systems, ensuring resilience.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Product, Security, and Mission Operations.
• Drive readiness, training, and documentation for field personnel.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures and deployment metrics.
