Job summary

Eastern Controls, Inc. in Virginia is seeking a hands-on Service Technician to calibrate and maintain instruments across critical industrial processes.

You will work from a home office and travel to customer sites for calibration, troubleshooting and repair, ensuring reliability, accuracy and safety of operations. The ideal candidate has 1–5 years of hands-on technical experience, basic electrical and mechanical knowledge, and familiarity with pneumatic or hydraulic actuators.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical applications with 1–5 years of experience.
• Experience as an electromechanical field tech is preferred.
• Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge; use of hand tools and testing equipment.
• Familiarity with electrical/hydraulic actuators and pneumatics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and calibrate instruments to ensure reliability and safety.
• Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation at varied customer sites.
• Operate from a home office with travel to sites (~15% overnight).
