Job summary

FCX Performance is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform field maintenance, installation, troubleshooting and repair of instrumentation and control systems across customer sites. You will calibrate sensors, commission loops, install devices, document actions, and travel as needed.

A High School Diploma is required; 2+ years in process/controls is preferred, along with PLC programming and strong electrical/mechanical skills. A company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years installing, maintaining, and repairing process/control equipment.
• Strong computer proficiency to operate electronic instruments used to measure/control variables.
• Electrical/electrician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform field maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of instrumentation and control systems in a timely, accurate, and safe manner.
• Calibrate pressure, temperature, flow and other instrumentation.
• Commission instrumentation and shoot loops; install and calibrate measuring devices.
• Complete all applicable documentation and report job activity.
• Represent FCX Performance during field service tasks with a can-do attitude.
• Identify safety issues and opportunities for upgrades at customer sites.
• Plan tasks and travel; use company vehicle with safe driving.
