Job summary

ISC Constructors, L.L.C. is seeking a positive, energetic instrument technician to join our maintenance team. The role focuses on calibrating, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining process instruments, valves, and controllers across our facilities.

Responsibilities include field calibration, loop checks, and reading P&ID and ladder diagrams, with emphasis on safety and OSHA compliance. A minimum of 4 years craft experience and an Instrumentation degree are required.

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years craft-specific experience.
Associate's degree in Instrumentation.
Ability to meet NCCER Written Skill Assessment.
Ability to pass post-offer drug/alcohol test and background checks.

Responsibilities

Calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and replace process instruments as part of the facility’s maintenance program.
Maintain process instruments including valves, vibration monitors and other instruments.
Pressure test pneumatic instruments for leaks and controllers, transducers, and valves in service.
Perform troubleshooting on energized motor controls.
Size thermal-overloads, breakers, and fuses.
Read, understand, correlate, and trouble-shoot from one-line schematics P&ID's and ladder diagrams.
Field calibration of electronic instruments with transmitters, controllers, transducers, valves, and recorders in service.
Loop check electrical wiring for continuity and proper termination.
