Job summary

Signature Companies is seeking a Field Inspector to perform on-site high-value property surveys across Montgomery, Preble, Greene and Miami counties. You will work independently from a home office, schedule your own visits, take measurements and photos, and document hazards for underwriters.

You will return web-based reports through our loss-control platform, collaborate with homeowners and agents, and advance risk identification with accuracy and timely communication.

Qualifications

• High level of professionalism.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must have smartphone, tablet and Windows-Based PC.
• High speed internet, Digital Camera or Smart phone with 16mp camera or greater, measuring devices such as laser, soft tape measure, or measuring wheel.
• A late model reliable vehicle and Auto and General Liability Insurance.
• BA or BS degree desired but not required.
• Construction experience desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct on-site High Value Property Surveys.
• Visit properties, take photos and measurements, note issues for underwriter.
• Generate estimated replacement value of home and identify major hazards.
• Communicate findings through loss control 360 via Signature website.
