Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Field Engineer to implement and support complex communications systems across multiple states, with significant travel (50-75%). The role requires coordinating with Systems Engineering, Project Management, and Sales to deliver tested, documented solutions.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience with virtualization, Windows servers, and RF networks, and can work independently from a remote location while staying aligned with customer needs.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in a technical or engineering discipline and 4+ years of technical or engineering experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely; sponsorship not available.
• Experience with server virtualization, operating systems, and networking equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, optimize, test, and document advanced communication systems.
• Provide weekly activity reports and maintain as-built documentation.
• Configure network, server, RF, and databases onsite and remotely.
• Perform troubleshooting of networks, servers, databases, and RF infrastructure.
• Conduct acceptance testing and document results for final package.
• Perform performance verification and optimization of RF infrastructure.
