Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Emergency Call Handling (ECH) Field Engineer to support on-premise and cloud-hosted ECH solutions. This remote role requires extensive travel across the US (75%+).

You will lead system configuration, testing, and post-cut support, ensuring design adherence and smooth deployments. The role reports to the ECH Field Engineer Manager and involves documenting configurations, troubleshooting cloud connectivity, and collaborating with customers and partners to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Software Engineering, or Technology.
• 3+ years deploying and integrating complex IP products and systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS.
• Performs site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Configures connectivity between local site infra and cloud environments.
• Documents changes to tenant configurations and API integrations during deployment.
• Ensures timely resolution of installation/quality issues.
• Contributes to MOPs for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Participates in pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations.
• Maintains expertise in cloud-native public safety technologies.
