Job summary

Primordial Labs in the United States seeks a Field Deployment Engineer to bridge core engineering and field operators for the Anura platform. You will deploy, configure, and validate the system on rugged edge compute and unmanned platforms, often directly at client sites.

This role combines hands-on hardware, software debugging, and network setup, with travel up to 50%. You will train users, capture field feedback, and help translate observations into actionable requirements for the product team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software engineering or field deployment roles (FDE/defense tech a plus).
• Hands-on field deployment on embedded edge compute in ruggedized setups.
• Experience with unmanned systems and real-time field operations.
• Strong Python skills; comfortable reading/debugging C++.
• Proficient with Linux and containerization (Docker).
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work on-site when deployed.
• Ability to obtain US Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment of Anura on rugged edge compute and unmanned systems.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware/software integrations in real time with operators.
• Set up and troubleshoot the tactical network, including subnets and bridging.
• Travel up to 50% to client sites for on-site validation.
• Collaborate with operators to translate field observations into requirements.
• Provide training and support so users command fleets using natural language intent.
