Job summary

NASDA is seeking a detail-oriented part-time Field Enumerator to support our agriculture nonprofit across the United States. You will interview farmers and rural businesses, travel to designated fields for crop counts, and maintain thorough, legible records of interviews, mileage, and hours worked.

The role offers a flexible schedule, potential to work from home, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for advancement based on hours and performance.

Qualifications

• Ability to conduct interviews in person or by phone with farmers and farm operators.
• Own a reliable personal vehicle for field travel and county-level duties.
• Comfort using computers or tablets (iPads) for data collection.
• Skillful multitasking in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to positively represent NASDA in survey actions and outreach.
• Capable of performing crop counts in designated fields.

Responsibilities

• Interview farmers, ranchers, and agricultural businesses to collect data.
• Travel to designated fields to perform crop counts and gather information.
• Maintain detailed, legible records of interviews, counts, mileage, and hours.
• Deliver data and reports in a timely, accurate manner.
