Job summary

NASDA is seeking a detail-oriented part-time Field Enumerator to support our agriculture nonprofit mission. The role offers a competitive wage and mileage reimbursement, with opportunities for advancement based on hours and performance.

A flexible schedule includes the potential to work from home and in your community. You will interview farmers and rural businesses, travel to fields for crop counts, and maintain precise records of interviews, mileage, expenditures, and hours.

Qualifications

• Experience multitasking in an energetic, deadline-oriented work environment.
• Ability to positively represent NASDA and the benefits of enumerators in all survey actions.
• Ability to make crop counts in designated fields.
• Ability to maintain a reliable personal vehicle.
• Ability to conduct interviews in person or by telephone with farm operators and other individuals.
• Knowledge about computers or iPads.

Responsibilities

• Interview farmers, ranchers, and other agricultural businesses in person or by phone.
• Travel to designated fields to perform crop counts as needed.
• Maintain and deliver detailed records of interviews, crop counts, mileage, expenditures, and hours worked.
