Job summary

National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) seeks a part-time Field Enumerator to support our agricultural data collection. The role offers a competitive wage of $19.52/hour plus mileage, with a flexible schedule and the ability to work from home, in your community.

You will interview farmers and rural businesses, travel to fields as needed, and maintain detailed records of interviews, counts, mileage, expenditures, and hours.

Qualifications

• Experience multitasking in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to conduct in-person or telephone interviews with farm operators.
• Ability to travel to designated fields for crop counts.
• Reliable personal vehicle required.
• Basic computer/iPad literacy.

Responsibilities

• Interview farmers, ranchers, and agricultural businesses in person or by phone.
• Travel to designated fields to perform crop counts when needed.
• Maintain detailed, legible records of interviews, counts, mileage, expenditures, and hours worked.
• Work from a residence with a suitable, distraction-free phone setup and a personal vehicle for travel.
