Job summary

NASDA is seeking a detail-oriented, part-time Field Enumerator to support our agriculture nonprofit. This role offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work from your community, collecting data that informs U.S.

agricultural policy. You will interview farmers and rural businesses in person or by phone, travel to fields for crop counts, and maintain clear records of interviews, mileage, expenditures, and hours worked.

Qualifications

• Experience multitasking in an energetic, deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to positively represent NASDA and the benefits of enumerators in all survey actions.
• Ability to conduct interviews in person or by telephone with farm operators and other individuals.
• Ability to maintain a reliable personal vehicle.
• Knowledge about computers or iPads.

Responsibilities

• Interview farmers, ranchers, and agricultural businesses in person or by phone.
• Travel to designated fields to perform crop counts.
• Maintain and deliver detailed and legible records of the interviews, crop counts, mileage, expenditures, and hours worked.
