Sedgwick is seeking a Field Case Manager to cover the South Jersey region, working remotely to support injured workers, employers and providers with a strategy that promotes recovery and safe return to work.

The ideal candidate holds a current RN license in the United States, a BSN is preferred, and certification in case management is highly preferred. Sedgwick offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with matching and four weeks PTO.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted RN license in the United States.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Certification in case management or rehabilitation nursing preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs initial and ongoing clinical assessment via telephone to evaluate medical needs.
• Communicates with claims examiner, client, injured worker, attorney, and supervisor.
• Identifies delayed recovery risks and solves problems with a creative approach.
• Negotiates treatment and disability duration with providers using guidelines.
• Identifies opportunities to expedite care for cost containment and recovery.
• Provides recommendations for alternative clinical resources to support resolution.
• Maintains client privacy and adheres to ethical and regulatory standards.
