Job summary

Accredited Labs is seeking a Calibration Technician – Field Service to join our lab team. You will calibrate a wide range of devices, both in our shop and at customer sites, ensuring accuracy and compliance with ISO 17025 standards.

The role requires a mechanical/technical background, strong communication with clients, and willingness to travel across Utah and the US. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods of time.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for field service travel.
• Demonstrated ability to learn mechanical and technical skills quickly.
• Experience working in a technical or mechanical position.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good organizational and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete accurate and timely calibrations both in our shop and at customer sites in the field.
• Perform all duties in accordance with ISO 17025.
• Perform routine and complex calibration on a wide variety of equipment per company processes and instruction documentation.
• Perform calibration on a variety of devices and instruments in accordance with established procedures and standards.
• Work directly with clients throughout the calibration process from first onsite touch point to completion of project, including good communication to provide client updates on services needed.
• Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards.
• Maintain calibration records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
• Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and support.
• Communicate with customers throughout the process and provide status updates.
• Travel to customer locations across Utah and throughout the US as needed.
