Job summary

Accredited Labs is seeking a Calibration Technician - Field Service to calibrate equipment at customer sites and in our shop. You will travel across Idaho and the US, performing routine and complex calibrations while ensuring compliance with ISO 17025 and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical/technical background with calibration exposure, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb, kneel, drive and stand for long periods.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for field service travel.
• Demonstrated ability to learn mechanical and technical skills quickly.
• Experience in a technical or mechanical position.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate calibrations in shop and at customer sites.
• Adhere to ISO 17025 requirements in all calibration activities.
• Calibrate a variety of devices per established procedures and standards.
• Maintain calibration records and up-to-date documentation.
• Communicate with customers and provide status updates throughout the process.
• Travel to customer locations across Idaho and the United States as needed.
