Accredited Labs is seeking a Calibration Technician to join our Utah Scale Center team in Salt Lake City. This entry-level-friendly role blends customer service with mechanical and technical work as you calibrate weighing equipment at client sites.

You’ll travel regionally, learn ISO 17025 procedures, and grow with comprehensive training. A reliable driver’s license and strong communication help you thrive in this hands-on, field-based position.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel to customer locations in Salt Lake Valley and surrounding areas.
• Able to lift 50 lbs routinely.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Able to climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods of time.
• Willing to obtain CDL class B (company-paid).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Customer-focused with professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Perform ISO 17025 compliant calibrations on mechanical and electronic weighing equipment.
• Inspect, maintain, calibrate, and repair equipment at customer sites.
• Provide clear client updates throughout calibration projects.
• Maintain calibration records and documentation.
• Ensure activity complies with industry regulations and quality standards.
• Interact professionally with customers and provide excellent service.
• Coordinate travel to various sites as needed.
