CAL-CERT is seeking a Calibration Technician – Field Service to join our Lab Team. You will calibrate a wide range of devices across customer sites, ensuring quality and compliance with ISO 17025. The role requires strong mechanical/technical skills, precise documentation, and travel across Utah and the US from the Salt Lake City base.

Qualifikationen

• 1+ years of experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment.
• Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation for field service travel.
• Able to lift 50 lbs, climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods of time.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in a technical or mechanical position.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Aufgaben

• Complete accurate and timely calibrations both in our shop and at customer sites in the field.
• Perform all duties in accordance with ISO 17025.
• Perform calibration on a wide variety of equipment per procedures and instruction documentation.
• Interact with clients throughout the calibration process and provide status updates.
• Travel to customer locations across Utah and throughout the US as needed.
