Job summary

National General is seeking a Field Auto Appraiser to inspect vehicle damage, prepare repair estimates, and deliver fair, timely claim resolutions across the Greensboro, NC territory. You will work independently, leverage your estimating expertise, and build strong relationships with customers, repair facilities, and business partners.

The role requires robust auto damage estimating experience, proficiency with CCC ONE or similar software, and the ability to manage claims while maintaining

Qualifications

• Strong auto damage estimating experience.
• Proficiency with CCC ONE or similar estimating software.
• Experience negotiating repairs and supplements with collision repair facilities.
• Ability to effectively manage an assigned territory while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Possesses strong estimating fundamentals to create or audit estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party losses of all severities.
• Possesses deep understanding of contents of all policy types written by the company.
• Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities across multiple lines.
• Evaluates settlement options by reviewing regulatory compliance and fair claims practices; makes decisions on best option.
• Builds mastered relationships with internal and external customers across multiple lines.
