Job summary

National General, a member of The Allstate Corporation, is seeking a Field Auto Appraiser to inspect vehicle damage, prepare repair estimates, and deliver fair, timely claim resolutions in the Greensboro, NC territory.

You will leverage your auto damage estimating experience and CCC ONE proficiency to negotiate settlements with collision repair facilities while managing an assigned region and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Possesses strong estimating fundamentals to create or audit damage estimates for 1st and 3rd party losses.
• Deep understanding of policy types written by the company.
• Negotiates settlements and documents activities across complex files.

Responsibilities

• Create or audit estimates of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage losses.
• Negotiate settlements and document settlement payments.
• Evaluate settlement options with regard to regulatory compliance and fair claims practices.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers across multiple lines.
• No supervisory duties.
