Job summary

National General Holdings Corp. is seeking a field-based estimator to create or audit comprehensive auto damage estimates for 1st and 3rd party claims in the Wilmington, NC area.

This remote role requires travel to inspect vehicles and collaborate with customers and repair facilities. You will mentor teammates, ensure claim quality, and negotiate settlements while leveraging strong knowledge of vehicle repair and CCC ONE.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in body shop or automotive repair with strong vehicle knowledge.
• Ability to assess vehicle damage and communicate repair needs clearly to customers and shops.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; able to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities

• Create or audit comprehensive damage estimates for auto/material damage claims.
• Train and mentor team; ensure quality and provide technical support.
• Negotiate settlements and document activities across lines.
• Travel locally to inspect vehicles and meet with customers and facilities.
