Job summary

United Automobile Insurance Company is seeking a Field Auto Appraiser to assess vehicle damage and support fair claim settlements in the Atlanta, GA area. The role may be performed remotely within the Metro Atlanta region, with in-person field work as needed.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in property or auto appraisal, familiarity with Audatex/CCC One/Xactimate, and a valid driver's license. Licensing in Florida is preferred or obtainable within 60 days.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in property or auto damage appraisal in a P&C setting.
• Presentable vehicle for daily field work; mileage reimbursement provided.
• Florida All-Lines Adjuster License preferred or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• Proficient with estimating software (CCC One, Audatex, Xactimate, Mitchell).
• Strong knowledge of Texas insurance and repair laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and appraise damaged property (auto or home), in-person or virtually.
• Prepare detailed repair estimates using industry-standard software.
• Determine repair versus total loss thresholds and recommend next steps.
• Review photos, videos, and documentation submitted by claimants and shops.
• Collaborate with adjusters, repair facilities, and policyholders to verify losses and resolve disputes.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with regulations and company guidelines.
