Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelors degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in property or auto damage appraisal in a P&C setting.
• Florida All-Lines Adjuster License preferred or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• Proficient with estimating software such as CCC One, Audatex, Xactimate, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of Texas insurance and repair laws.
• Valid drivers license and ability to travel within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and appraise damaged auto or home properties in person or virtually.
• Prepare detailed, itemized repair estimates using industry-standard software (Audatex/CCC One/Xactimate/Mitchell).
• Determine repair versus total loss thresholds and advise next steps.
• Review photos, videos, and documentation from claimants, shops, or adjusters.
• Collaborate with adjusters, repair facilities, and policyholders to verify losses and resolve disputes.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, company guidelines, and ethical standards.
• Maintain records and stay up to date on repair laws and appraisal practices.
