Job summary
Molecular Devices, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Cellular Workflow Automation Field Applications Scientist to join the team. This remote-friendly role supports customers across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic from a home office in Pennsylvania, Ohio, or nearby.
You will provide pre-sales and post-sales application support for automated cell culture and complex biology platforms, deliver live demonstrations and trainings, and troubleshoot to optimize workflows and drive adoption of
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Biological Sciences or equivalent discipline.
- 2+ years hands-on experience with laboratory automation, including automated liquid handlers.
- 2+ years hands-on experience with long-term cell culture, including iPSCs.
- Experience with 3D biology (organoids, spheroids, tumoroids) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales application support for automated cell culture platforms, including live demonstrations and troubleshooting.
- Deliver customer trainings and assist in optimizing workflows; influence purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with North America Sales and Applications team to support customers across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
