Job summary

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences seeks a Field Applications Scientist for the Eastern U.S. to provide scientific and applications expertise across cell analysis and bioprocess analytics. This remote role partners with Sales and R&D to deliver reliable, reproducible results for biopharma and cell line development customers.

Responsibilities include demonstrations, trainings, and troubleshooting while traveling up to 85% and maintaining strong communication with the field and product teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related life science; advanced degree a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of life sciences experience in field applications, technical support, or lab/bioprocess environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary applications and scientific resource for customers; diagnose factors affecting variability and optimize workflows.
• Support antibody and protein quantification applications, guiding measurements.
• Deliver product demonstrations, on-site trainings, and remote support.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, and R&D to resolve issues and advance opportunities.
• Capture Voice of Customer and relay to Product Management and R&D for future iterations.
