Job summary

Würth Elektronik eiSos in the United States seeks a Field Applications Engineer to support customers from concept to production. You will visit customer sites to build relationships, answer technical questions, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver coordinated solutions.

This role requires traveling 20–40% (domestic) and 1–4 weeks international travel per year, with a strong emphasis on technical presentations and trainings in English.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• Practical experience in application engineering or related roles.
• Strong understanding of electronic components; electromechanical is a plus.
• Ability to analyze technical requirements and explain complex topics clearly.
• Excellent presentation and training skills; engage technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel regionally within the stated area.
• Very good English; other regional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer sites to build relationships and provide hands-on support.
• Support customers through all design phases from component selection to production.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations, training, and seminars for customers and internal teams.
• Provide expert technical support to field sales and internal staff.
• Collaborate with internal departments and international colleagues for coordinated support.
• Identify critical customer requirements and market trends to inform management and product teams.
• Represent the company at trade shows and conferences.
