Job summary

Waters Corporation seeks a Field Application Scientist to support Wyatt Light Scattering and Aura instrumentation across the assigned territory. You will collaborate with sales, deliver onsite seminars, provide technical consulting, and enable customer success through data analysis and post-sale support, traveling up to 70% of the time.

Based in a home office, you will develop technical papers, contribute to product feedback, and build strong relationships with biopharmaceutical and academic

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry or equivalent
• 5+ years hands-on experience with HPLC and Light Scattering instruments
• Knowledge of polymer and protein techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication and lab skills

Responsibilities

• Proactively drive new sales opportunities with onsite seminars, technical consulting, and feasibility tests.
• Manage early-stage opportunities until technical close.
• Provide master-level technical support during sales, including training and post-sale analysis.
• Support existing customers post-sale with product training and applications.
