Job summary

Waters Corporation is seeking a Field Application Scientist to support our clinical and forensic customers through both pre-sales and post-sales activities. The ideal candidate will have expertise in liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry, with a Ph.D. or Master’s degree and relevant experience.

Responsibilities include training customers, demonstrating solutions, and providing technical support. This role requires 50-75% travel across the U.S. and a passion for customer success.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in relevant fields with necessary years of experience.
• Expertise in method development and troubleshooting in LC/MS.
• Experience in large molecule applications such as peptide mapping.

Responsibilities

• Train and support customers with Waters LC/MS instruments.
• Demonstrate clinical solutions through sample analyses.
• Manage customer expectations and provide follow-up plans.
