Job summary

GROWMARK, Inc. seeks a Field Sales Agronomist I to drive profitable seed sales and market share growth for FS-supported products across Virginia. You will deliver agronomy expertise and sales leadership while coordinating with FS member cooperatives and Growmark teams.

The role emphasizes promoting Plant Performance Products, supporting grower strategies, and providing technical marketing leadership. Overnight travel and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Ag Business or Agronomy required.
• 1+ year of agricultural sales experience preferred.
• CCA and CCS certification (or exam) required or pursued.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; ability to travel overnight as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead targeted sales calls with growers to promote FS seed brands and Plant Performance Products.
• Provide agronomy technical and sales leadership for Plant Performance Products.
• Support FS companies with product features, agronomic benefits and competitive differentiation.
• Collaborate with Agronomy Business Director to align seed supply and grower programs.
• Travel as needed to support customers and training initiatives.
