VIAVI Solutions is seeking a Solutions Engineer to support Fibre Optic and Metro-Ethernet instruments in Central Europe (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Benelux). You will deliver high-level pre-sales demonstrations, engage with sales and channel partners, and drive bookings in the region.

The role requires strong Ethernet/IP expertise, a telecom engineering background, and hands-on experience with OTDR/OSA and testing standards.

Qualifikationen

• Telecom engineering degree or equivalent with Ethernet/IP and Fibre Optic expertise.
• Understanding of Metro-Ethernet and Fibre Optic technologies and testing including 100G/400G/800G and service activation.
• Proven experience in using/pre-sales technical support with major vendors and T&M equipment vendors.

Aufgaben

• Deliver high level pre-sales technical support on Fibre Optic and Metro-Ethernet instrument solutions in Central Europe.
• Respond to RFIs, RFQs and RFPs with account managers.
• Deliver product and technology presentations at local roadshows and webinars in Central Europe.
