Job summary

Zayo Group is seeking an experienced Fiber Test & Acceptance Project Manager to lead testing, validation, and final acceptance of long-haul OSP fiber infrastructure. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure routes meet standards and are handed off ready for operations.

This remote-from-US role requires coordinating with OSP Construction, Fiber Engineering, Field Operations, and vendors to resolve deficiencies and deliver complete closeout packages on schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience managing fiber testing and acceptance for long-haul backbone and OSP projects.
• Strong knowledge of OTDR, IL, OLTS, and related testing methods.
• Ability to interpret OTDR traces and identify issues such as high loss or splice problems.

Responsibilities

• Fiber Testing, Validation & Acceptance - manage complete testing & acceptance for long-haul and OSP fiber deployments.
• Review OTDR, IL, OLTS, power meter, and related results per project specs.
• Coordinate with field technicians, splicers, engineers, and vendors to diagnose and resolve testing failures.
• Ensure completed fiber routes meet Zayo's standards before final acceptance.
