Job summary

Congruex is seeking a Project Estimator to manage the pre-sales pipeline and create project cost estimates for fiber and telecom networks. You will work with engineering, design, and construction teams to develop bids, read blueprints, and prepare cost sheets.

This remote role covers multiple markets and requires evaluating equipment and labor costs, generating bid proposals with several software tools, and negotiating contracts with customers while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years OSP/engineering/construction estimating experience.
• Strong understanding of fiber engineering and construction methods such as underground and aerial.
• Demonstrate GRIT values: Guts, Reliability, Innovation, and Teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Market Congruex to existing and new customers.
• Read blueprints and generate material takeoffs.
• Prepare pre-construction and post-construction information sheets.
• Generate bid proposals using multiple software applications.
• Negotiate contracts with customers and suppliers.
• Monitor job progress and report productivity and cost data.
• Attend pre-bid meetings to gather critical job information.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and safety.
