Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks a Remote Fiber Design Tech 1 to perform day-to-day network engineering and fiber route design for service inquiries and Fiber to the Cell deployments. You will build and maintain fiber design records using Network Manager and OSP Insight, supporting planning, engineering and construction teams.

The role requires strong data entry skills, familiarity with MS Office, and the ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years in telecommunications/outside plant engineering.
• Knowledge of outside plant construction.

Responsibilities

• Design and document fiber networks and route designs.
• Create and maintain fiber plant designs and records.
• Ensure data accuracy and reconcile with field as-builts.
• Trace fiber paths and produce route maps/reports.
