Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Default FHA Claims Analyst I to review FHA Part A mortgage insurance claims for accuracy and submit the claim form. The role operates remotely from home, under moderate supervision, with a target pay range of $22.00/hr to $26.00/hr.

Responsibilities include reviewing claims within timeframes, performing quality checks, communicating corrections to the filing team, and ensuring proper documentation and submission to agencies for payment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; some college preferred.
• 1+ years mortgage servicing default experience, or QA/QC experience in another line of business, or College Graduate.

Responsibilities

• Review FHA Part A claims for accuracy within investor/insurer timeframes.
• Complete quality checks using a scorecard/checklist to identify errors.
• Communicate correction requests to claim filing team and ensure corrections are completed accurately.
• Document system with appropriate tasking and comments.
• Ensure accurate dates and information are recorded on the Part A claim form.
• Review foreclosure and default timeframe to include extensions on the Part A claim form.
