Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a FHA Part A Claims Analyst I to review and submit FHA Part A mortgage insurance claims with moderate supervision, ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies and laws. The role is remote from home with a target pay range of $22.00/hr to $26.00/hr.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year mortgage servicing default experience or QA/QC exposure, strong communication, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; some college preferred.
• 1+ year mortgage servicing default experience or QA/QC experience in another line of business.
• Understanding of FHA Part A claims and default servicing processes.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Review FHA Part A claims for accuracy within investor/timeframes.
• Perform quality checks using a scorecard/checklist to identify errors.
• Communicate correction requests to filing team and ensure timely corrections.
• Document system with appropriate tasking and comments.
• Ensure dates and information are correct on Part A claim forms.
• Finalize and submit claim to agency for payment.
