Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to define secure, scalable architectures for financial services platforms within a FedRAMP High government cloud environment.

You will collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, compliance, and business stakeholders to modernize platforms, govern designs, and guide production support, risk management, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software/enterprise architecture experience.
• Experience with regulated financial services environments (banking, securities, custody, transfer agency).
• Expertise with Azure Government and cloud-native architectures (APIs, microservices, containers).
• Hands-on with .NET or Java and modern integration architectures.
• Strong knowledge of FedRAMP High, NIST 800-53 controls, identity and access management, and cloud security.

Responsibilities

• Design cloud-native, highly available, and secure architectures for financial services platforms.
• Define enterprise architecture standards for APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, data management, integration patterns, and security controls.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity/DevSecOps to align solutions with FedRAMP High, NIST 800-53, Zero Trust, IAM, encryption, audit logging, and monitoring requirements.
• Review and govern solution designs for scalability, resiliency, performance, and operational readiness.
• Lead architecture modernization and provide guidance on technical strategy, risk management, and production support.
