Job summary

Cognizant seeks a Senior Solution Architect to define secure, scalable architectures for financial services platforms, including transfer agency and securities processing, in a FedRAMP High government cloud environment.

You will collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, compliance, and business stakeholders to modernize platforms, drive API and microservices strategies, and ensure compliance and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software, solution or enterprise architecture.
• Experience in regulated financial services environments.
• Expertise with Azure Government and cloud-native architecture.
• Hands-on experience with .NET or Java and modern integration.
• Strong knowledge of FedRAMP High, NIST 800-53 controls and cloud security.
• Experience leading architecture reviews and driving scalability.

Responsibilities

• Design cloud-native, highly available, secure architectures for financial services platforms.
• Define enterprise standards for APIs, microservices, data management, security controls.
• Partner with cybersecurity/DevSecOps to align with FedRAMP High, IAM, encryption, audit logging.
• Review designs to ensure scalability, resiliency, performance, and operational readiness.
• Lead modernization efforts and guide technical strategy, risk, and production support.
