Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to define secure, scalable architectures for financial services platforms within a FedRAMP High government cloud environment. You will collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, compliance, and business stakeholders to modernize platforms and deliver secure cloud-native solutions.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software architecture, solution architecture, or enterprise architecture roles.
• Strong experience in regulated financial services environments (banking, securities servicing, capital markets, trust, custody, or transfer agency).
• Expertise with FedRAMP High, NIST 800-53 controls, secure SDLC, IAM, and cloud security frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design cloud-native, highly available, and secure architectures for financial services platforms and client integrations.
• Define enterprise architecture standards for APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, data management, and security controls.
• Partner with cybersecurity and DevSecOps to align solutions with FedRAMP High, NIST 800-53, Zero Trust, IAM, encryption, and audit logging requirements.
• Review and govern solution designs for scalability, resiliency, performance, and operability.
• Lead architecture modernization efforts and provide guidance on technical strategy, risk management, and production support.
