Job summary

The ideal candidate will have 7–10 years of IT experience, strong Windows Server and Tenable/Nessus skills, and a US citizenship with the ability to pass a federal background check.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related discipline, or equivalent experience; Master's preferred.
• 7–10 years in IT, systems administration or similar role.
• Strong Windows Server administration, patching, and maintenance.
• Experience with Tenable/Nessus vulnerability scanning and reporting.
• Experience with incident response and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure security practices and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server 2019/2022 environments, including patching and maintenance.
• Monitor backups and storage, investigate alerts, and ensure data recovery readiness.
• Conduct vulnerability scans with Tenable/Nessus and coordinate remediation with security teams.
• Support incident response by triaging issues and documenting remediation actions.
• Contribute to infrastructure improvements and modernization initiatives; document procedures.
• Assist with security authorization documentation and evidence.
• Maintain security practices through password rotation and service account reviews.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation across program offices.
