Job summary

Dunhill Government Solutions is seeking a System Administrator to deliver day-to-day infrastructure and customer support within a federal agency's on-premises environment. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years of IT or systems administration experience.
• Enterprise Windows Server administration and patching.
• Proficiency in Tenable/Nessus vulnerability management and reporting.
• Experience supporting incident response and infrastructure troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server 2019/2022 environments: installation, configuration, upgrades, security patches and scheduled maintenance
• Monitor backup and storage systems, troubleshoot alerts and ensure recovery readiness
• Perform vulnerability scanning and remediation with Tenable/Nessus and work with the security team on scan outcomes
• Support high-level incident response, triage technical issues and document remediation actions
• Take part in infrastructure initiatives (such as Windows Server 2016 retirement and IIS/logging enhancements) and security authorization evidence preparation
• Support operational security hygiene through service account reviews and password rotation coordination
• Contribute to documentation and records management across program offices
