Job summary

LittleHorse is an orchestration leader for the AI-enabled era, delivering modern, scalable systems for federal customers. The Systems Solution Engineer will design and implement distributed solutions, work with product managers and infrastructure teams, and help teams adopt Business-as-Code.

This mostly remote role requires occasional in-person meetings in the Washington DC area, with strong collaboration across distributed teams and open-source technologies.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of Backend/Systems engineering experience.
• Located in EST, preferably the Virginia/Washington DC area.
• Experience with distributed systems or cloud platforms is key.
• Strong Sys Admin skills including managing servers, containers, networks, and related infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement systems for federal customers.
• Work with product managers and infrastructure to modernize legacy systems on the LittleHorse platform.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver low-cost, high-performance solutions.
