Job summary

VetsEZ is seeking a Solutions Architect for a 100% remote role supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project. You will lead enterprise architecture, cloud-enabled solutions, and technical standards for Census Bureau priorities.

Travel to the Washington, DC area may be required for onsite meetings and customer activities. The candidate must reside within the continental US and have strong leadership across Agile, SAFe, and DevSecOps environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field and 10+ years IT experience.
Expert-level knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud environments, data management, and analytics.
Experience leading Agile and DevSecOps for federal programs.
Ability to translate complex architectures into federal technical narratives and diagrams.

Responsibilities

Lead development of enterprise technical architectures for Census Bureau systems and data.
Develop architecture specifications, standards, and solution-development processes.
Collaborate with Agile, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, cloud experts, and data specialists.
Translate architectures into clear specifications, diagrams, and implementation guidance.
Coordinate with program managers and engineers to ensure scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
Lead architecture reviews and documentation activities.
