Job summary

Thunder is seeking a Salesforce Developer (Agentforce Specialist) for Federal Delivery. This remote US-based role supports visits to Thunder offices in Northern Virginia/DC as needed and is contingent on bid success.

You will design, develop, and deploy AI-enabled Salesforce solutions, including Agentforce agents, custom actions, and secure data integrations for Federal agencies. You will work with Solution Architects, BAs, and PMs to implement scalable, compliant AI systems, emphasize security,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience (Apex, LWC, secure REST/SOAP APIs) with practical expertise in building and deploying Agentforce agents or generative AI solutions.
• AgentForce Domain Experience: Deep understanding of Agentforce architecture, custom action development, prompt configuration, grounding techniques, and Data Cloud integration.
• Core Automation: Proven track record of implementing complex business logic, enterprise workflows, and custom platform automations using apex triggers, flows, and other declarative technology
• Federal Context: Experience integrating Salesforce with legacy Federal systems and navigating cleared, highly regulated environments.
• Development Tools & Methodologies: Proficiency with Git, secure coding standards, and DevSecOps/CI/CD pipelines. Active participant in Agile/Scrum delivery models.
• Clearance & Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required, with the ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy autonomous and hybrid AI agents using Agentforce.
• Develop Apex classes, flows, and API connectors for custom actions.
• Implement secure data grounding and API integrations with Data Cloud and legacy systems.
• Build Lightning Web Components (LWCs) and Apex triggers to enhance UI and backend processes.
• Enforce Federal security and compliance standards in AI interactions.
• Collaborate with Analysts and Architects to translate requirements into AI architectures.
• Conduct agent testing, prompt evaluation, and UAT support.
• Support secure CI/CD pipelines for deployments in Federal environments.
