GovCIO is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead a large, high-visibility federal IT program for the VA. This remote role requires executive communication, strong stakeholder management, and proven delivery of complex initiatives across dispersed teams.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in program management, including 5+ years leading large federal IT programs and direct VA exposure or strong VA knowledge. Excellent financial oversight and proven leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 12+ years in program management.
• 10+ years managing programs, including 5+ years in large federal IT programs.
• Direct VA experience or strong VA knowledge.
• Experience managing budgets, multiteams and subcontractors.
• Proven ability to engage senior government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead program execution, delivery performance, staffing and customer satisfaction.
• Manage large, multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors on complex federal IT projects.
• Interface with senior government stakeholders, building trusted relationships.
• Identify and resolve program risks, performance concerns, and contractual issues.
• Ensure milestones, deliverables and contractual commitments are met.
• Oversee budgets, labor utilization, forecasting, and financial performance.
• Collaborate with leadership, contracts, finance, and business development.
• Lead executive briefings and program reviews with professionalism.
