Job summary

GovCIO, a leader in transforming government IT, seeks a Sr. Project Manager to oversee integrated delivery across VA AI task orders.

The role maintains portfolio roadmaps, runs SAFe cadence across AI teams, and manages platform partner relationships, all while operating fully remote within the United States. You will drive multi‑team programs, manage budgets and schedules, and serve as delivery lead with VA.

Qualifications

Bachelor's with 8+ years experience, including 3+ years leading agile multi-team programs.
Experience delivering AI, data or digital modernization programs for a federal agency.
Track record managing subcontractor or platform partner delivery.
Clear, concise writing for executive audiences.
Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Public Trust background.

Responsibilities

Creates integrated project plans for contract deliverables and new products in development projects.
Manages a project team comprised of a multidisciplinary staff.
Reviews, manages and controls status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
Own and manage the integrated roadmaps and schedules across all task orders in Jira Plans with cross-team dependencies.
Maintain the milestone plan and rolling deployment forecast.
Serve as the day‑to‑day delivery lead with the VA and ensure sprint quality and traceability standards.
Act as scrum master, set Jira and confluence standards.
