Job summary

Iron Bow Technologies is seeking a Program Manager to oversee large IT program initiatives for Federal and SLED Governments. You will plan, direct, and coordinate activities, working to expand solutions with existing clients while controlling costs and profitability.

The role requires 10+ years of PM experience in government IT, strong financial and risk management skills, and the ability to communicate with executive stakeholders. Travel up to 20% is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and PMP certification.
• 10+ years Program Management experience working IT support for Federal and State customers.
• Extensive experience in Federal and SLED space driving program execution.
• Ability to orchestrate overall customer experience while delivering program objectives.
• Strong understanding of financial, risk, deliverable, and resource management.
• Experience conforming with contract regulations and performance in Gov and non-Gov contracts.
• High attention to detail and strong writing/presentation skills.
• Proficient in Excel, SharePoint and Teams.
• Ability to work independently and in a matrixed team environment.
• Ability to prioritize requirements and meet deadlines.
• Ability to balance a large workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Present to C-level Executives with strong presentation skills.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-complexity programs in service-driven, high-availability, or compliance-focused environments.
• Direct resources for planning, scheduling, risk management, and reporting.
• Manage direct and indirect employees.
• Build rapport with client stakeholders and manage expectations.
• Oversee all phases of the program lifecycle per governance standards.
• Manage program budgets, burn-rate, and cost performance.
• Provide monthly forecasts and P&L analysis.
• Present quarterly and annual program reviews for internal/external customers.
• Conduct PMRs and risk assessments; adjust plans as needed.
• Apply Iron Bow methodology to program management processes.
• Assess client objectives, determine deliverables, and evaluate risk.
• Maintain schedule of deliverables and SLAs.
• Identify issues early and propose solutions.
• Handle contractual actions (stop-work orders, invoicing issues).
• Collaborate with Account Team.
• Lead change management for program delivery.
• Assist with recompetes.
• Other duties as assigned.
